And the rain rain rain came down down down, but the markets went back up again

Just a quickie post. I noticed both the TSX and the DJIA are up about 150 points today. Based on what, I have no clue. Nothing but bad news on the economic front, economic growth numbers and projections all down, employment numbers are frightening and the Peasants in London England are referring to it as Fortress London this week.

What do those investment people read anyway? Winnie the Pooh?

Silly Wabbits.

  1. . . . flying by Andromeda . . . there's hairy and the rest of CRAP on a broken-down comet! . . . as they are lost in space I'll stop by next time and say hello, but for now wave and smile happily . . . zoom past Sirius . . . yell hello to the residents of Neptune . . . there's Father Earth -- THAT'S what's on The Dark Side Of The Moon -- hmmmmmm, never would have guessed . . . there is C.One's garage . . . park the spaceship and nip back to Kelowna . . .

Good! I'm home and no one knew I was gone! Must say that hairy is the still the same overly-cooked, ravishing, luscious piece of pork rump-butt, well rounded humanoid that he used to be.

Well, that was fun -- THANX, C.One for the use of the USS Enterprise -- needs a tune-up and oil change, 'tho!

This leads to another undiscovered part of life . . .

    Nurses aren't suppose to laugh

"Of course I won't laugh, I'm a professional nurse. In over twenty years I've never laughed at a patient."

"Okay then," Fred said and proceeded to drop his trousers, revealing the tiniest man thingy the nurse had ever seen.

Length and width, it couldn't have been bigger than an AAA battery.

Unable to control herself, the nurse started giggling then almost fell to the floor laughing.

A few minutes later she was able to regain her composure.

"I'm so sorry," said the nurse. "I don't know what came over me. On my honor as a nurse and a lady, I promise it won't happen again.

"Now tell me, what seems to be the problem?"

    "It's swollen," Fred replied.

    Things went downhill from there.

I'm considering a return to the workforce, but not in my previous trade.

The more I read and hear via the msm, the more convinced that, with a good audition, I could make it to the Big Time as a Belly-Dancer.

Failing that, the other two options are: (1) Pimp; (2) Drug dealer.

    I'll keep y'all informed!

    "Silly Wabbits." -- C.One

Au contraire, mon ami -- the ones at the top know precisely what they are doing, and these are The Very Smart Foxes about munching on us poor sheeple.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Or,Fool me once, etc., etc.

There are plenty of other examples, so don't get caught up by what's happening in the markets.

Look to Main Street, Everywhere and observe what is happening with greater frequency.

Layoffs / companies closing all over / worldwide auto sales aren't happening anywhere / Russia pushing for a return to the Gold Standard / China pushing for a new currency.

Both countries, as well as others, have one thing in common -- dump the dollar and have an alternative to step in and replace it with.

Look! Look! The Emperor / Empire has no clothes. The US has almost run it's course.

    Later y'all!

  2. Not checking the movers I suspect a great deal of the trillions in cash accounts feel even declining value tangible assets are the only hedge against hyperinflation.

". . . But like the stock market, the sunspot cycle is unpredictable. And just when astronomers thought it had hit bottom, it went lower. It has been a bear market for sunspots for many months now. That also means there have been no major space storms, which can zap satellites and threaten power grids on Earth."

  6. Not just interesting but fascinating times.

The market reacted to the G-20 $1t in added stimulus increasing hyperinflation odds.

While in normal times employment numbers lag the markets in this situation the market is not predicting recovery but hyperinflation, or worse to come for the job situation.
In this situation jobs will lead the recovery, not the stock market.

    You heard it here first.

IMF is selling some of their gold reserves. That's why gold was down today and will be for a while but keep those bars because inflation will occur. The stage is set for hyperinflation as Don states but governments will do everything to keep it down which will prolong this thing.

Credit lines are bumping up their interest rates. If you have one call your bank and complain, they may reduce the rate. Don't know about credit cards.

    Peace.
