I won't be bloggin much for a while. Explanation to follow

Just a brief note to explain my recent silence. My most immediate Family member has been severely injured in an accident.

    Australia with a Cup Of Tea

    One day my mother was out so dad was in charge of me. Someone had given me a little 'tea set' as a get-well gift and it was one of my favorite toys.

    Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought him a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, Mum came home.

    Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!'

    Mum waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up.

    Then she says -- as only a mother would know . . .

    "Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water is the toilet?"

    . . . ugghh . . . . argghhh . . . . . my nipples explode with delight . . . i'm a lost cause . . . I've spent the last few days in the bowels of hell, where not even Satan himself ventures.

    Yes, I've almost completed my Income Tax, and remembered what my name was as well!

    Exciting News! Yes, It's Irish Telecommunications

    After having dug to a depth of 10 metres last year, Scottish scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.

    Not to be outdone by the Scots, in the weeks that followed, English scientists dug to a depth of 20 metres, and shortly after, headlines in the English newspapers read: "English archaeologists have found traces of 200-year-old copper wire and have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier than the Scots."

    One week later, "The Kerrymen," a southwest Irish newsletter, reported the following: "After digging as deep as 30 metres in peat bog near Tralee, Paddy O'Droll, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing.

    Paddy has therefore concluded that 300 years ago, Ireland had already gone wireless.
